In view of the anticipated footfall as SMMs are relaxed in the Transition Phase, coupled with the upcoming festive season, SCDF had reminded FSMs via an Email Blast (see attachment) to ensure that the relevant fire safety aspects are taken care of.

We had added new runs for our training.

NFEC Facebook Launch
The National Fire and Emergency Preparedness Council (NFEC) has newly launched their Facebook page. Click on their official NFEC Facebook page to like and follow them.
Post Event: Standard First Aid and AED Awareness Online
We are happy to inform that the Standard First Aid and AED Awareness Online (SFAA) online course, a collaboration between A-CERTS and People’s Association, had met with successful turnout of 14 A-CERTS members. The online course was held on 21 Aug, Sat, from 2.00pm to 6.00pm. This event was open to members of A-CERTS who are Singaporean and Singapore PR.

A-CERTS presented at MOE Operation Managers Seminar 2021
A-CERTS did a successful presentation at the Ministry of Education Operation Managers Seminar 2021 on 7th Jun 2021.
It was attended by 439 Operation Managers representing 344 schools, with total attendance of 493 participants.
Post Event: A-CERTS’ 10th Annual General Meeting (Virtual)
A-CERTS held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 21st May 2021, from 3pm to 4pm, virtually due to the Singapore Phase 3, Heightened Alert safe measures management. We thank our members who had attended the virtual session, despite their busy schedule.
Notice of A-CERTS’ 10th Annual General Meeting (Virtual)
A-CERTS will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 21st May 2021, from 3pm to 4pm. In light with the new restrictions by the government that will be in place from 8 May to 30 May 2021 and the uncertainties that may present itself, A-CERTS Management Council had decided to conduct the AGM virtually, via Zoom video-conferencing platform instead. This is also for the safety of all our members.
The AGM is a members-only event. If any A-CERTS member had not received an email with the Notice of the AGM, they should contact us. Please refer to the Notice of the 10th Annual General Meeting, with the agenda and details of the meeting.

Dear A-CERTS members, we are pleased to inform that we are organising the CERT Webinar 2021 over the virtual Zoom Platform. Registration will close on 15 March 2021, 12 noon, or earlier if max capacity is reached.

Webinar Fees: Public Rate of S$40.00 (all inclusive) for registration via Eventbrite
Free for A-CERTS Individual Member and the first 2 seats for Corporate Members. S$20.00* for third or more seats for Corporate Members.
* A-CERTS member must be holding a valid membership for current year.
* To be eligible for A-CERTS member rate, registration must be done through your HR/L&D department. Special registration link will be sent to company representative of members. Please look out for the email sent to members.
Accreditation: 10 FSM-CPD points for FSM, with conditions. Refer to eventbrite registration.
SDU points: 3 SDU Points (For WSHO)
PDU points: 2 PDU Points (For PE)
